House Calls & Clock Moving done properly
Moving a floor clock is where most damage happens. Weights left hanging bend the seat board, an unsecured chime block shatters the rods, and a pendulum left in place will destroy its own suspension spring in a single truck ride. We prepare, transport and reinstall floor clocks properly, and we can also meet your movers on site.
What this service covers
- Pendulum, weights and chime block removed and labelled
- Movement secured against motion during transport
- Case padded, wrapped and moved upright

Questions about house calls & clock moving
What area do you cover for house calls?
Boulder, Boulder County and nearby Front Range communities including Broomfield, Westminster, Arvada and Denver.
Can I move a grandfather clock myself?
You can prepare one yourself with care, but the two highest-cost repairs we see both come from DIY moves: bent seat boards and broken suspension springs.
Do you charge a trip fee?
In-home visits include a service call fee that is quoted upfront and applied to the work performed.
