Cuckoo Clock Repair done properly
Cuckoo clocks are wonderfully mechanical and famously misunderstood. Nine times out of ten the call is one of three things: paper bellows tops that have gone brittle, chains that have jumped their sprockets, or a movement dry enough that the strike train can no longer lift the whistle pistons. All three are routine work for us.

Questions about cuckoo clock repair
Why does my cuckoo sound breathy?
The paper on the bellows tops has cracked. Re-covering the bellows restores the two-note call and is one of our most common cuckoo repairs.
Can you repair carved case damage?
Yes, minor carving repair and reattachment is handled in-house; extensive carving loss is quoted separately.
Should the clock be shut off at night?
Using the night shut-off lever is fine and does no harm to the movement.
